What is Faith in Action?
“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:23-25
Faith in Action exists to provide high school and young adult students with the opportunity to share the love of Christ with our brothers and sisters in other parts of the world. Our goal is to partner with the local church through an established mission organization called Praying Pelican Missions (www.ppm.org). Mission trips soften our hearts and allow God the space to do some of His greatest works in us. If you’re looking for a life changing experience, I challenge you to be courageous, step out in faith, and join us on a short term mission trip!

Katherine McKinnon - Mission Trip Leader
I went on my first mission trip to Haiti when I was 16 years old. As a junior in high school, stepping out of my comfort zone and experiencing a culture that wasn’t my own changed the trajectory of my life. My relationship with Jesus grew immensely, I fell in love with an entire nation of people, and I created life long friendships. I have been on three mission trips with PPM and have looked for the opportunity to lead a trip myself. I am excited about the opportunity to invest in the next generation of believers!
